TIP Challenge

These TIP Challenges help you build the sections of your team's Technical Innovation Plan.

Task Force: International Team
Start Date: Start anytime of the year after your International Team is formed
End Date: Submit a solution by April 30
Individual Points: 10 points per submission, if a document AND survey are completed for each item
Winners: Scored on final product using the TIP Rubric, winners announced June 1. Top awards as high as $1500 per team member in a combination of summer study, travel and college scholarships.

You are in control of scheduling what you want to accomplish and when.

The basic idea for making progress on the TIP is for your team to tackle some part of the plan outlined below, submit that section to your eFolio and seek feedback on it from each other and your mentors, parents, and scientists. Even the staff and STEM Mentors of the Global Challenge can give you helpful feedback! Use the feedback plus your own self-assessment of your work (using the TIP Rubric) to make steady improvements in your work until submitting the final document for Scholarship Awards.
