Social, Physical and Economic Balances

This exploration sets the stage for thinking about "systems", "dynamics" and "interactions and relationships" that need STEM knowledge and expressions in order to be understood. Read Engineering, the Environment and Sustainability by Dr. Domenico Grasso, the Dean of the University of Vermont College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences.  He uses the concepts of Social, Physical and Economic Balances to underscore the concepts of tradeoffs and why there are no unequivocal answers.  When you are done, jot down your reactions to the article in your eFolio.
