UVM Design TASC
Team Challenge
Technology and Society Connections (TASC) challenges you to form a school team and then work with your teacher and friends to create a unique, working solution to this year's competition...and earn mega-points (200!).
Resources
Sponsored by the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Vermont, visit the UVM Design TASC competition web site to find out how to form a team and enter the competition. The purpose of the competition is to give teams of high school students the challenge and satisfaction of designing, building, and testing a device to perform a specified task. Here is an important document you should download and share with others!

Feel free to use any and all resources of the Global Challenge to help your team! (e.g. ask your Mentor for advice, search the Global Resources, use the eFolio for asynchornous communications)

Process
GOING CRAZY The program begins in September and culminates in December (That's why it is CrAzY - and really fun) with schools bringing teams of five students to UVM to display creative engineered devices. If you are an international student or a school team from too far away to travel to Vermont, you can send in your boxed solution and UVM engineering students will run it for you in the competitions.
