Teleconference Room

All IT teams are encouraged to use the teleconference room to facilitate team communications and collaborative work. 

Use this space to work collaboratively on your BP, TIP or STEM Explorations. You can show each other interesting web research you've discovered or even work together on product drawings!  All the while, you can chat or talk using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

We think that you will be able to figure out the system without a lot of assistance, but please be in touch with the GCA staff if you need help of any kind. We'll be glad to give your group a quick tour.

If another group is already using the room, please ask the group when they expect to finish and come back later.  If you'd like to listen in and share ideas with a group that is using the room, please be sure to ask first in case they prefer to work in private. We are going to experiment to see if this open system will work for everyone. Please report any problems to the GCA staff so we can take actions if needed. Thanks! 

To use the conference room you will first need to  download software that only works on PCs (sorry Mac-users, we'll keep looking for solutions!).  Click on the link below and then click on "Download" on the Welcome Page.  You only need to do this the first time!

Talking Communities, Conference Room 10

After you have downloaded the plug-in, click on the link again and select "Click here to enter the room" on the Welcome Page.  When prompted for your user name, just type in your name.  When prompted for a password, type "moderator".  Have fun!
