Create a Team Video

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then what is a video worth?  Make a Global Challenge video to find out! Add one to our collection, so that you can "Be the Change!" and "Share the Story!"

Your challenge is to create a team video that explores one of the themes below.  Work with your teammates to write and perform a skit, sing a song, do stand-up comedy, tell a story with clay animation or legos; whatever grabs hold of your imagination!  The only resource you need (besides your creative mind!) is a video camera.  Check out these Hints to create a great video.   Have fun with this!

Themes

  • Your team!  Where are you from, why did you join, what makes you unique?
  • Your favorite solutions to combat global warming --- what strategies do you think will save the planet?
  • Global warming impacts in your community --- show us how your community is likely to be affected!
  • Global student perspectives on the state of the environment and future of energy --- what is your take on the problems we face?  Will your generation be ready for the challenge?
  • Why society should be scientifically literate --- or should they?  You tell us!
  • How your team plans to change the world --- we know you can, but do you?
  • Stories about those making a positive difference on this planet --- we all need this kind of inspiration!
  • The trials and tribulations of global team work...and the unexpected joys!--- it's the way of the future, so share your experience with others!
  • Why join the Global Challenge?  Create an ad to inspire other teens to consider this program!

When you are done, complete the following:

  1. Upload your video on YouTube and include the link on your Team Page.
  2. On your Team Page, tell us what the core message of your video is.  Who is your audience?
  3. Discuss your role in the creation of your team video on your Personal Page.
